Dr. Bernhard has been working for BCG (Boston Consulting Group) since 2007, having joined after working for JP Morgan London.

As an Associate Director, he is a part of the leadership of the cryptocurrency team at BCG, which  he is also building up for the last 2-3 years. Besides BCG, Bernhard is a co-founder and angel investor in various FinTech (e.g., the largest Robo-advisor in Austria) and a university lecturer at the University of Technology Vienna.

Ellina started her career in investment banking in London in 2000, joining Salomon Smith Barney, Acquisition and Leveraged Finance team, later moving onto the trading floor, and focusing on Structured Solutions in Fixed Income and Credit.

She worked in Nomura, ABN AMRO (RBS) and Merrill Lynch (London) investment banks. From 2014 till the present, Ellina has worked in private banking investment advisory and wealth management in Citi IPB and CS UK Private bank.

Her current role in a Bank focuses on leading key initiatives in the Digital Assets space across multi-disciplinary, multi-functional and multi-cultural teams.

The Global Council exists solely as an arm’s length high-level advisory body composed of members that support the development and direction of the community in its early stages of establishment.

Membership in the global council is an honorary position that has been granted.
